Batch Import Assets

• Click on Assets in the left pane
• Click on the upload icon in the toolbar and select Assets
• Click on the Select button and choose an Excel file with the correct format
• Click on the Download Upvise Site Import Sample.xlsx to download a sample Excel file

Asset Import Excel format

• Must be an Excel file .XLSX
• with one sheet only (other sheets are ignored during import)
• The first row must contain the header, one in each column as indicated below
• Each asset data must be one a row
• Make sure there is no blank line. Import will stop if there is a blank line and rows below will not be imported

Header	Description
id	Upvise internal id
Site Name	(Mandatory) Name of the site. If the site does not exist, a new site is created
Asset Location	Location of the asset within the site
Asset Group	(Mandatory) Name of the Group for the asset. If the group does not already exist, a new group is created
Asset Model	Model of the asset. We recommend to include the manufacturer in this field
Asset Id	Unique ID string within the site which identifies this asset.

Note: if you have already a unique field for this asset, use it both for the id column (upvise internal record id) and the Asset ID column, which is displayed on screen.
