Import Contacts and Companies
It is most likely that you already have a database of Contacts and Companies in a third-party software application, e.g Google Contacts, Outlook, etc...
To populate your Upvise Contacts and Companies database, you can export your contacts from the third-party app as a CSV or Excel file, and re-import them into Upvise:
- Goto Contacts in your web account and click on the three-dot button menu then select
Import.
- Choose the
spreadsheet format: Upvise XLSX, Google CSV, Outlook CSV, Camcard (Business Card reader) CSV.
- Select the file to
upload from your disk drive.
N.B.: Click on "Download Upvise Contacts Sample.xlsx" to get an example of the header names for an Upvise XLSX. If you select Google, Outlook or Camcard, Upvise will automatically convert this format to Upvise headers.

Alternatively you can import Contacts directly from your phone's native address book into Upvise: from your phone, click on the Import Contacts button when you first enter the Contacts app, or goto the More Views menu.
You can also import a single contact from the Android Phone list into Upvise, with the 'Share namecard via' menu.
